“So I pondered over the need for a robe like this for ages because if the truth be told I thought they were a bit of a fashion statement and I didn’t want to spend the money, especially as I felt my fleece pj’s and puffs jacket was fine. That is until I tried my friends robe on and realised this is an open water swimming luxury I NEEDED in my life! I’m usually a big name brand buyer but glad i didn’t go main stream on this occasion. This coat is warm, light, very well made, with the debate over full sleeve or half sleeve solved with the zip on and off sleeves! The self contained pack away bag is genius, plus I love the colour (had to be orange for me) and the fact it’s made from recycled materials was the cherry on the cake!

It’s warm, not too bulky (or heavy) and folds into a little bag so helps keep things tidy. The lining is super soft, and the outer is water repellent. Handy zip pocket on chest, perfect for phone.
I really like the length too (at 5’4’’ it really does cover my legs… bonus when cold and windy). Perfect size for getting changed in, without exposing yourself to others!
I’ve only used it in the winter but the fact that the arms can be zipped off will be great for when the weather warms up.
It’s made from recycled materials which is great news, and the colours are great – I chose bright orange.
Highly recommend it, especially when swimming (without wetsuit) throughout the winter.”
