“Debutots put on the best party! Alex entertained a whole gang of children of different ages which meant we could enjoy our lunch in peace. The children had the most brilliant time & I couldn't recommend them more. We'll definitely book them again.”

“My son absolutely loves his debutots sessions - debutots is his favourite club and he always looks forward to the sessions and asks me to book him into the holiday workshops. He comes out smiling every time.”

“I really wanted my son to attend a drama class in the hope of him gaining confidence and have a different interest from his usual afterschool activities. I contacted Debutots prior to my son starting the classes and make them aware my son can be very shy and quiet just to help ease him in. The team have been very understanding and have really helped him. I've noticed a big change in his confidence, my son is more comfortable in situations he may have found difficult in the past. The classes have also developed his imagination in creating stories/characters which he wasn't able to do before and I know this is and will be valuable for him. I'm so thrilled that my son is really benefitting from these classes and that Stephen and the team make the classes so enjoyable!”

“My son has been going to Debutots with Ellie for over two years every Friday, and even via Zoom during the lockdown months (a much-appreciated respite). He's always loved it, never ever complained about going, even when he had three or four other clubs on the go. I get the feeling Ellie is one of these rare people who truly get kids on their own terms, without patronising them or overindulging them. Kids respect that tone instinctively and so feel more confident to act in the sort of unselfconscious (and often downright silly) way that her play acting class requires. The emphasis on storytelling, shared imagination, bodily and verbal expression is definitely a great complement to the curriculum, which sadly tends to limit these more performative activities to early infant classes or the dreaded Christmas plays. Couldn't recommend this enough!”

“Debutots with Ellie, is my sons' favourite after school club ever! He actually said to me he never wanted to stop going, and has been going for over 2 years now. He has so much fun acting out Ellie's stories, hanging out with his friends and ending the session with a cheeky chocolate biscuit. Even during lockdown, Ellie ran some online Debutot sessions via zoom, which based on other zoom chats, should have been a total nightmare - bit somehow Ellie kept control of the group and they still had so much fun. It has been Lucas's highlight of the week and I would wholeheartedly recommend Ellie's sessions to anyone.”

“Ellies wonderful Debutot classes have been a godsend before and during lockdown. It provides the children a perfect opportunity to overcome any reluctance towards public performance in a safe and creative environment. The sessions during lockdown were one of Lucca's weekly highlights. Ellie sends out fantastic materials prior to each session, which were exciting and engaging??and we will be forever thankful she continued Debutots during lockdown. A true hero to the kids parents and carers. Go Debutots.”
