“We’ve had the pleasure of working with Laura on two occasions to deliver Intergenerational Linking sessions between a primary school and a care home. Laura’s sessions are accessible, thoughtful and enthusiastic - the care she brings to her work really shines through. It was a pleasure to watch the children and older people form more confident connections as the sessions went on. Recently, we invited Laura to lead an activity session at a celebration event for schools and care settings across the district. Children had a fantastic time, and residents were engaged throughout, joining in at a level that felt right for them. Laura’s sessions create a warm and playful atmosphere - great to watch and fun to take part in!”

“Laura ran an intergenerational project with our Reception class and the local nursing home and it was absolutely fantastic! The children loved the sessions are were completely engaged throughout. Laura carefully planned activities which were accessible to both the children and the elderly residents and enabled the two groups to engage with each other in a fun and meaningful way. “Laura has delivered some Intergenerational sessions for us in 2 care homes where the children and older people shared stories and played together. Everyone had a brilliant time with puppets, quizzes, games and bubbles. The joy that Laura brought to all participants was easy to see and I would highly recommend working with her. She engaged young and old equally with her stories and calm, caring manner, making sure that the children connected with their new Gran friends. The sessions have been a delight to be a part of!”

“Laura came to offer a session to our Gateway Club for around 24 adults with learning difficulties and she instantly had them all engaged in the story. She had thought about their additional physical needs for many and brought all the resources to them so that they were able to take part in their seats and immerse themselves in the journey. All of our members joined I, includes ones you wouldn't think would do, because of Laura's kind and calm persona our members had a wonderful night and were thoroughly entertained! Thank you Laura for such a great night.”

“Laura was fantastic in planning g a bespoke train themed party for our 6 year old, she had made personalised stickers, games to play with the children around all train related things and was able to keep 25 children engaged throughout. Her enthusiasm for what she does shines out when you see Laura capture the imagination of the children she is working with. Laura's effort, organisation and reassurance for the party was second to non and fantastic and I ould thoroughly recommend Laura to run a Debutots party for your child. Thank you once again Laura for providing such a thoughtful well planned train party.”

“I’ve known Laura for a few years but never seen her transform into a storyteller before. She has an amazing ability to engage with people of all ages and get them engrossed in the activity. I’d not hesitate to have her again for any church based activity day and would encourage you to book her for your children’s activities. The Street Party at Fulneck Moravian church was so much richer for having Laura involved.”

“Laura came to do 4 sessions at Crossley House Care Home along with some children from a local school. Her sessions were such fun, well planned and very interactive. She was amazing with both the children and the residents and she referred to the residents to the children as "Grandfriends" which I thought was totally adorable. I would highly recommend this amazing lady and the sessions that she offers.”
