“The turkey arrived promptly on the appointed day (23/.12) - perfect. It was well insulated with ice packs and recycled paper packaging. The bird itself tasted very good. The one remark I have is, the skin of the breast was slashed away far too much at the neck end, exposing about 1/3 of the breast meat on one side. This was highly annoying as I couldn’t stuff under the skin properly, all the stuffing wouldn’t stay put and the meat on that side was noticeably dryer after roasting. I had to cover it with foil and fiddle with it quite a lot. Also for presentation purposes after roasting, it llooked messy and lacked the ‘wow factor’ due to this. It would be nice if you could tie up the neck skin prop properly, enclosing the stuffing under the skin and over the breast, to avoid drying the meat out.”
