“When I first tried this product I wasn’t sure it was going to work for my skin because it seemed to highlight some dry patches on my face. However, I was really glad I gave it a chance and took a few days to use it consistently. After a few days it sat really beautifully under my makeup - no greasiness or oilyness (I have combination skin and everything usually turns oily by the end of the day). I applied the product after moisturizer and that seemed to work best. Definitely works way better than other sunscreens I’ve tried - with the bonus of not leaving any chalky white colour underneath!”
“A lovely light formula spf. I’ve been using strong retinol at night time and needed a strong but lightweight spf for the daytime, this was ideal. Initially I used on its own but found it far more effective and absorbent if I mixed in some light day moisturiser for a smoother result on my skin.”
“I am very picky when it comes to sunscreen and I have tried a lot of different brands and formulas and I was very impressed with Dermalogica physical defense. The product is quite thick but spreads evenly and easily - a little goes a long way. It feels invisible on the skin, my skin can get quite oily but this works really well with it. I have also found it works really well under make up. I have spent many hours in the harsh sunlight wearing this sunscreen on my face and I didn't get burnt. “I've been on the hunt for a sunscreen that doesn't leave a white cast but also sits well under makeup now that I wear SPF every day. I love the texture and consistency, also love how it doesn't feel sticky or cause pilling when adding makeup on top. A little goes a long way because it is quite thick. The only think I am not 100% sure of yet is if its causing additional breakouts, had some breakouts appear on my chin which I usually don't have. Hopefully it's just my skin adjusting.
