“Dermalogica does a GREAT job with plenty of their products, and this is no exception. Their Daily Milkfoliant comes in a blue jar with a screw lid, and a little opening that allows for you to tap enough of the product out, without accidentally letting too much moisture in.
This aims to exfoliate while also protecting the skin barrier. This vegan product contains oat and coconut, and while it starts off as a powder, once it is mixed with water, this turns into something else. It becomes milky and creamy, polishing away dead skin cells with a blend of AHAs and BHAs from grape extract and arginine, as well as papaya extract. This also contains hyaluronic acid and essential minerals,

“I’ve been a decade long user of Daily Microfoliant so to try a new variant was an exciting move. The texture of this is smoother (more powder like perhaps attributed to oat flour) and not grainy so it didn’t feel like lot of physical exfoliation on the skin. If you’re sensitive skin, this might be your preference. I also found this gives more of a soapy foam compared to the OG. In terms of scent, it is similar to the original, which is mild and pleasant. Post cleansing my skin felt normal, no tightness or surface dryness was felt. It was good for my morning cleanse or second cleanse. I can’t say I have noticed significant smoothness in skin, however on the upside it didn’t deteriorate my skin condition either. It is nice to use, and I will finish this bottle. However, I will go back to Microfoliant.

“I love the packaging. A bright blue colour is different to anything I’d ever purchased. The powder has a soft and silky feel to it, made it feel so luxurious and it smelled amazing, but once I added the water the smell went from lovely to horrid, it has a very pungent smell that put me off it for a bit. Once I applied the paste it glided over my skin with ease. After washing it off my skin felt super clean. Within two weeks I had noticed a change in my skin. It looks healthier, cleaner & I had less pimples. Overall I’m extremely happy with this product.

“I have been using this product for almost a month. If you have very sensitive skin you may prefer this over a more course product. I found it to be very gentle and quite soothing. In my experience, it wasn't a super deep exfoliation which I often prefer. I really like the packaging and it didn't irritate my skin at all.”
