It instantly makes my skin feel like it's getting a drink of water, which is so important as my skin gets oily, but can sometimes feel tight. I use this at night and it works with my moisturiser really well. The best part is that it doesn't leave my skin feeling sticky or tacky, which I have experienced with other hydrating serums.
