“The Dermalogica Circular Hydration Serum is a very hydrating serum to use and is paired perfectly with the microcurrent treatments in the evenings before I go to bed.
I put a light layer on 3 x sections on my face and use the microcurrent device with the serum and find they pair very well. The serum texture allows the microcurrent device to glide smoothly across my face without hindering the microcurrent treatments. Afterwards, I gently massage the remaining serum into my face and this replaces my night cream as I find the serum is hydrating enough.
I wake up the next day and can still see and feel that my skin looks very hydrated and moisturised. It is a hard-wearing product even after a night of sleep!
In the mornings, I put this on before I put on my BB cream. I don't use an SPF moisturiser for now as my BB cream contains SPF and the serum works well as a base layer before the BB cream is applied.
Be warned though, there have been times both in the mornings and evenings when I've applied a bit too much serum and it can feel a bit oily and give you shine.
All in all, I would recommend this product because the hydration factor is visible and the product delivers.”
“I have been using the circular hydration serum for over 2 weeks. I have sensitive skin and on the dry side. As always dermalogica's products are suitable for sensitive skin. I can see the difference of how radiant and plump after use. It seems a small bottle but it goes a long way as you only need 2 drops for the face and neck.
The reason I give 4 stars is I am not a big fan of the texture as I feel sticky when you first apply It does absorb after awhile.”
“I use this serum before my moisturiser for added locked in moisture. I have quite dry skin and I find this works well, especially in cooler weather when my skin dries out easily. I do find the product a little pricy and hence the 4 star rating.”
“I really enjoyed using this serum as It lived up to its name in being incredibly hydrating and moisturising. This however did come with some downfalls as if you used slightly too much it would leave my face a bit greasy and sticky. However it did dry pretty fast and was nice to wear before bed or under makeup. I have pretty textured skin and have mild acne - thought using this might help but I've seen no real difference in my skin over the last two weeks - mind you it has only been 2 weeks. Overall liked this product and would recommend to anyone looking for a new moisturising serum!”
“The serum definitely does exactly what it says it will. It is one of the best hydrators I have ever used. You also only need a really small amount to get great results. The downside for me is that it feels a little sticky, even once dried. For that reason I have been using it overnight and have noticed my skin feels plumper and super hydrated all the time. I would buy this one again.”
“I've been using this serum twice a day for about 2 weeks now. I have always had skin more on the dry side and I can definitely say it leaves your skin feeling really soft and supple for ages after. The only downside I would say is that it is quite thick and has a sticky texture at first when you apply it, which I'm not much of a fan of, but it does sink in quickly and that feeling goes away. If you are after a moisturising serum I would recommend this one.”
“I do like this product though it feels a bit sticky on my skin. My skin does feel quite hydrated after use and I love to lather it on before bed but I feel it is a bit too sticky for daytime use under my SPF. The price point is a bit higher than similar products.”
“I thoroughly enjoyed using this serum - I can't believe the difference it made! I just started using a more potent percentage of retinol and it kept my skin supple and hydrated throughout the whole process. It doesn't pill on my skin, even after using multiple actives and never felt sticky. I usually prefer a heavier, more cream based serum but this light and watery based serum really did work wonders and I'm so happy I now have a new staple in my routine! Though I used it during summer months it will be interesting to see how it holds up during winter (where my skin really dries out), I'm confident however it will still work wonders”
