Flock growing — but one feeder means someone’s always waiting?
Whether you’re adding a second feeder because your hens are jostling for space or setting up two stations for a growing flock, this twin pack gives you two complete Small Feeders in one box. Flat-rate shipping on both, compact enough for tight spaces at just 541mm tall, and ready to mount in separate spots around your coop or run. Trusted by over 50,000 Aussie chook keepers.
How does the Small Feeder Twin Pack work?
Each feeder works exactly like our Small Feeder Single — easy to refill, just turn the handle on the lid to lift it off, pour in feed, and twist it back on. Feed gravity-feeds into a hooded base opening. The hood gives your hens room to eat comfortably, but the shape stops them from flicking, raking, or billing feed onto the ground. A built-in rain hood channels water away from the opening, keeping feed dry outdoors. No moving parts, no training — your chickens start eating within minutes.
Mount each feeder independently via two steel brackets and self-tapping screws (all included). Most customers put one on each side of the coop or run — separate locations reduce pecking-order competition and give shy hens reliable access to feed.
What size flock is the Twin Pack for?
Two feeders cover flocks of around 4–10 hens comfortably across two feeding stations. Each holds 3.5 litres (~2.6kg of feed) — that’s roughly 5.2kg total, or about a week’s worth for 4 hens on quality complete pellets. For larger flocks within the range, you’ll refill more often but still get two separate stations where every bird can eat without being pushed off. Browse the full range of Dine-A-Chook feeders for all sizes.
Only need one feeder? The Small Feeder Single suits 2–6 hens. Need more coverage? The Small Feeder Six Pack covers 12+ hens. Bigger flock altogether? The Large Feeder Twin Pack suits 8–16 hens.
What’s in the box?
Two Small Feeders with twist-on lids, 4 steel mounting brackets, 8 self-tapping screws, and an installation guide. Mounts directly to timber — ready to install, no extra parts needed.
Mounting to wire mesh? You’ll need two Wire Mesh Mounting Kits (sold separately) — one per feeder.
What feed works best with these feeders?
Works best with quality complete feed — crumble or pellets. These give your hens balanced nutrition in every bite and reduce selective eating. Grain mixes let hens pick their favourites and miss essential nutrients.
If the feed level looks low in the tray, that’s by design — it keeps feed away from edges so your hens can’t flick it out. Try the finger test: push your finger into the opening. If you can move the feed, your chickens can reach it.
Why are these feeders built to last?
Every component is injection moulded in Brisbane and assembled in Townsville — a genuine Australian made product. UV-resistant ASA plastic handles sun and rain year after year. No moving parts means nothing to jam, seize, or break. Each feeder is backed by a 3-year warranty.

They are bigger than I require. I couldn’t find size information on the website. I don’t find the mash flows through as the hens eat, I have to top it up manually. Covers (to close the feeder at night) do not come with the feeders, it is not brought to attention at the point of sale, requiring an extra “add on” purchase and delivery cost.

Have installed the two feeders for the girls. They worked it out quickly. Keeping the pesky pigeons away. The food is going down a lot slower - so was surprising how much the wild birds were enjoying the free feed. Keep checking to see if the girls are getting access! I think it’s working! Hoping this also keeps other diseases away.

Red rooster was onto things from word go! He obviously loves it. The girls aren't so savvy it seems. It took a few days for them and I think they all are using it now. I like how tough your product is too....a dog (not mentioning names) pulled one down and chewed the hood but basically didn't do any damage and the grain stayed in!
