Read Dine-a-Chook Reviews

This yellow Closure Cap is designed to fit all Dine-A-Chook Chicken Feeders, offering a simple and effective way to temporarily block feed access when needed. Whether you're managing pests, taking a break from feeding, or adjusting your coop routine, this cap adds convenience and control to your poultry care system.
Supports Better Pest Management
Many backyard chicken keepers face challenges with rats, sparrows, and even ibis gaining access to open feed. While no feeder is completely rat-proof, this closure cap offers a helpful solution by sealing off the outlet, especially overnight or during non-feeding hours. It works best as part of a multi-faceted pest control plan that includes coop hygiene and safe baiting practices.
We recommend pairing this cap with our Rat Bait Station and Poultry-Safe Rat Bait for a complete strategy.
Simple, Durable, and Built for Dine-A-Chook Systems
3D printed from high-quality PETG plastic, this closure cap is UV-stable and weather-resistant. It’s easy to apply and remove without tools, and is engineered specifically to fit Dine-A-Chook Chicken Feeders – no guesswork or modifications required. Add one to your order for extra peace of mind when managing feed access or discouraging unwanted visitors in the coop.

Would be nice if this was included in the feeder rather than an additional cost as the feeders are not cheap!
