Why choose Ratshot Ratbait Stations:
Control rat and mice populations, especially when infestations take hold in and around chicken coops
Compact lockable design
Keeps rat bait out of reach of animals and children
Includes securing rods & mounting bracket
High bait capacity Block, Paste, Grain Baits, Pellets
Easy to use
Use this lockable rat bait station with Ratshot Poultry Safe Rat Blocks
Use the Ratshot Lockable Ratbait Stations with the blue rate and mouse poison blocks. These are the only baits that are suitable for use in and around a chicken coop and poultry.
If you are looking to prevent future infestations in and around your Chicken Coop then you should serious consider the Chicken feeder you use.
The Dine a Chook Chicken feeder keeps the feed above ground, and in the feeder. Unlike other feeders which encourage feed to spill onto the ground, become wet and smelly - all of which attracts vermin to your coop.
Apart from very small breeds of poultry, you will mount your new Dine a Chook Feeder almost 200mm off the ground, that is 200mm to the opening or wherever is a suitable height for your size bird.
But don’t be fooled into thinking anything on the market is rat proof, we are not sure that is even possible. The Dine a Chook Feeder is your best chance however of significantly minimizing any chance of this becoming a problem in the future.

Its small compared to other bait stations and I wonder if rats might not fit inside. (they are bloody big at the moment) after 2 days I had not seen any evidence of rats taking the bait but time will tell

They do the job but they aren’t great quality. I would buy more if they were metal.
