“I use these for sleep rather than allergies as they are a sedating anti histamine. In the UK this medicine is marketed as a sleep aid not an allergy medicine because of its sedating effects.
Although I can get this medicine over the counter from a local pharmacy the maximum pack size is 20 and this bottle contains 600 so it lasts me far longer and saves repeat trips to my local pharmacy. Not to mention that to buy 600 of these from my local pharmacy would cost around £150 and these are less than £20 with free delivery from the US. Absolute bargain.
Whenever I’m struggling to sleep I take 50mg and it will put me asleep within 20-30 minutes. Works every time. I personally wouldn’t recommend as an anti histamine for allergies because of its sedating effects and it will make you feel drowsy / sleepy when it’s not bedtime.
It’s great as a sleep aid and I’d recommend to anybody who sometimes struggles with getting to sleep or suffers from mild insomnia. The only downside is that it can sometimes make you feel groggy in the morning and it can be a struggle to get out of bed. This usually wears off within an hour though and is far more preferable than not sleeping.”
