“Hi Dr Golly, I just wanted to personally reach out and say THANK YOU for creating your sleep program! I was at my wits end and decided to purchase your program two nights ago. I am not even half way in and the small modifications that I have implemented has already improved my baby girls sleep. Our issue wasn’t not sleeping at night (believe or not haha), it is not sleeping at all during the day (unless in the car or after feeds in my arms only). My baby girl is so active during the day and the frequent feeding was driving me insane, literally. I couldn’t do anything - going to the bathroom was hard enough. She fought sleep no matter despite yawning all the time. I just thought it was normal and was reassured by others that it’s just “cluster feeding” or “a growth spurt.” But little did I know that this unsettled behaviour was from WIND Yes, I would burp her but not every feed as sometimes she would fall asleep especially in side lying but then wake up crying not long after. I am really focusing on burping now and have implemented your technique over the past two days, and I am blown away already. I can’t wait to create a daytime routine that makes everyone happy. We have the nighttime down pat (sleep at 10-11ish - 2am then 1 feed and she usually wakes up around 6-7am) so it’s just the daytime that we need to sort out! It really felt like an endless cycle - frequent feeding, crying and over tiredness. I was so restricted to go about my day but it’s slowly improving so THANK YOU!”

Sleep and settling is such a nuanced topic - not every day is perfect but once you start to understand what's driving your babies discomfort or poor sleep the whole process gets a lot easier.
