Green Marble water butt with fully removable lid with a brass outlet at the perfect height for watering cans. This water butt is perfect for easy filling and pump installation.
“Delivery delayed due to tooling breakdown but kept fully informed and arrived on revised date ok. Happy with quality and looks great! Realise now I won't be able to use the 525 litres of water as a lot of it is stored below the tap line. Would have been helpful if it stated the amount of litres that can be accessed.”
“The waterbutt is great, does everything you expect a waterbutt to do. The optional connections near the bottom of waterbutt allow addition of a hose pipe to access the water below tap level. My only issue is that the waterbutt was delivered about a week later than stated which was inconvenient.”
“Well constructed water butt. Easy to install. The only thing I would have liked would be the option of a tap fitting position lower down. I have a concrete plinth on which it sits so there would be plenty of room to fit the tap lower and still position a watering can under it. The high tap position prevents the bottom quarter of the butt being emptied.”
“I would love to say that the water butt is first class and is operating successfully. However, since completing its installation we, unfortunately, haven't had a drop of rain, so it is still sitting empty. Having said that, the online ordering process, response time and delivery arrangements from Ecosure were excellent.”
“It's great, but was not easy to set up - you need a drill and hacksaw - there are no holes behind the screwthreads for the outlet tap, or for the inlet pipe (hence needing a saw to cut a hole for this in the lid). The tap that fits the middle outlet (as shown in picture) is faitly standard (3/4 inch) but doesn't fit the two lower outlets at the base of the water butt, which have bigger screw thread. We didn't want to waste the water at the base of the butt, so attached a tap to the lowest outlet points (at the base - so you need to raise it to get a watering can under). However, it was extremely difficult to find a tap to fit the 1 inch screw thread for these outlets. We've finally sorted it with an adaptor (though the tap is not ideal) and the butt itself is as expected, looks sturdy, and should be fine (though we've had no rain yet!).”
“Very good quality but one issue. You have to drill holes for outlets in places where nuts are and also by 1inch stop end if using outlet as drain down whole. Difficult to install outlet tap.”
“The tank is excellent quality and looks good too, unfortunately we can't seem to stop drips from the joints with tap and hose connections, they don't show up until there is adequate water in the tank and we would have to empty it to attempt to correct the problem and there is a lot of water in it. Also it wasn't easy to attach the down pipe diverter because of the curved surfaces.”
