EnviMAX 120v Plug-in Electric Panel Wall Heater - 1000 Watts (EM1012P) Reviews

4.4 Rating 55 Reviews
“Only question is...what took us so long? We purchased the Envi EM1012P 1000 watt wall heater for our sizeable master bathroom, which is forever cold in the winter due to the fact that it's on the same radiant heat zone as our bedroom, which we keep at 67F for sleeping. That means the bathroom gets practically no heat. It can be bone chilling at 2 am. The Envi EM1012P has solved this problem for good. No more space heater fan noise, no more adjusting the thermostat up and down. We actually have the ENVI set to the lowest setting and it keeps the bathroom a comfortable 70F. Just set it and forget it. Also, if we ever need a temp boost for showers, our Vornado now gets us there in less than a minute. We are very happy.”

“I am trying to heat a portable style building in southwest Arkansas where the weather is rather mild. This 12' x 24' buiilding has a lofted ceiling. We insulated the walls with 3 1/2" batts and made the 2x2s in the ceiling 2x6s so we could increase the thickness of the ceiling insulation. We added 1/2" board insulation to the ceiling and west wall. I thought this heater would suffice but have ordered a second unit because when the wind blows and the temp drops below 30ish degrees. It gets cold in here. The floor is probably the weak point because it is 3/4" plywood. Period. Heater is super quiet. We shall see if 2 will make up for my non-insulated wood floor. Thx for reading!”

“Ours has been working well, a bedroom that is normally at 68 degrees we can now keep at 75. Still have not gotten an electric bill so can't say if it is any less expensive, but our last space heater cost us almost $250 per month in the coldest months. I'm hoping this one will pay for itself this winter!”

“The heater was very easy to install. I purchased the 1000 watt heater for a room 13 x 13 approx 170sqft. I put it on an inside was that was recommended but it seems to have a minimal impact on warming the room. It has been on the highest setting for over 48 hours. The new smell burn in dissipated within 24 hours. I was really hoping this heater would work because it is in my granddaughters playroom and it seemed like a safe option.”

“These heaters seem to work well however they do take many hours to warm the room so leaving them on continuously is the only way they work. I am not sure the financial ramifications of that yet as I have not seen the power bill.”

“I purchased three 1000W and one 500W Plug-in Electric wall heaters to heat the first floor of my condo/townhome; the total area of the first floor is just under 800 sq ft. I kept all 4 of them on max power for 36 hours thus far, and I still have to use the standard central heating to keep things at 72 degrees. I was hoping that I can keep the central heating thermostat at 69-70 degrees, and the 4 envi heaters would be able to keep the temperature at or above 72 degrees easily. Nope, that has not been the case! They are almost useless, the 4 envi heaters contribution to the temperature of my first floor is almost negligible. And imagine the 3500 Watt/hours of wasted energy every hour!”
