“Impressionistic Iris
Again Ensar gives us a nudge towards the path he has walked. It's up to us to interpret the emotion.
I believe his attempt at impressionism worked by definition. I'd like to add there's a sense of expressionism as well. You could say it's another face to the coin, to which I wouldn't argue. It's definitely worth a mention.
Mabye there's a poetic similarity between Ensar and Vincent in terms of technical use of materials. With a glimpse you could see how Van Gogh spared no paint tube in his art. His paintings were caked with heavy brush strokes. The paint was so thick, it could've been passed as braille. So is Ensar, he's notorious for exhausting royal treasuries and aromatic time capsules in service of his work. Perhaps, that discard of sanity is what it takes to move people.
So, what do I feel? Or rather what do I believe Albanian Van Gogh is telling me?
It's telling me that no matter how dark your past is, it doesn't have to define you. It's telling me whatever people say about you doesn't matter, long as your heart is true. It's a reflection of inner beauty, a hopeful future. It captures happiness, forgiveness..love.
Now the smell. Creamy, tangy, unusually sweet with an Iris drunk on musk. There's a glimpse of EO 3 in here (my favorite rose based fragrance). My backup is already purchased. Now that's perspective!”
