Musc Morisco Reviews

5 Rating 1 Reviews
Nothing like I imagined it would be - I've held Carob before. I own Oud Extraordinaire. In addition, I've familiarized myself with Ensar's use of Jasmine, same with Beeswax. I couldn't be so wrong! It's definitely a new take on musk. A bright musk..quite zingy in fact! Like ginger with touches of spice. There's also an illusion of smoke, as if there's incense in the backgrounds. Another phantom note would be rose. If I closed my eyes and squint my imagination, I may smell it. Touches of suede enforcing herbal dryness, like tea but brighter and not as bitter. I sense a subtle sweetness reminiscent of an Indonesian candy I grew up eating called: Ting Ting Jahe. It's tapioca based, ginger and sugarcane flavored. Not your typical synthetic candy. The color orange comes to mind, not vibrant..more like an oversized setting sun on dry landscape. Or a perfectly runny egg yolk oozing. Musc Morisco is a childhood memory come to life!
