“This a beautiful model. The paint and detail are excellent. And you have the advantage of probably having the most current information on the correct anatomy. Thus your model is more accurate than any other out there. My only criticism is that I wish the forearms were separated from the body rather than molded against the chest where they are almost invisible. Most models do have some separation of the arms from the body. Also, I wish it was bigger (but then I probably couldn't afford it)”

“A very impressive figure and stunning for a first time maker. The photos don't do ustice to the subtleties of the paint job and how natural and lifelike the sculpt is. From the photos I was not sure if I was keen on the injuries on the face but again in hand they look really nice and it's good to see nods to the pathologies found on real T. rex skulls and to tell a little bit of the story of the animals life. The stand is very nice though the figure stands up perfectly well without it and to be honest I found it easier to display alone as the stand took up too much space on a shelf already overcrowded with other dinosaurs. The poop is a fun detail though would have been nice if it stood out a little more with a different paint application from the ground. The only really minor nitpick I have with the figure itself is with the eyes. At that scale some detail would have been nice but they are just black. What I find a little visually distracting is that the eyes have a very distinct squint to them. I can't say it's unrealistic just a little eye catching in a not totally positive way. The animal looks like they are perpetually looking into the sun (or maybe a giant asteroid impact?) Overall though the only minor negative (and it's personal preference) in an otherwise amazing model.”

“I have to say that I am deeply impressed with the (current) accuracy, level of detail, and care taken in the presentation. Photos only capture a fair amount of this piece's level of awesomeness. It has to be seen in person to get it all. Everything Dinosaur did a fantastic job on all axes. The only possible is is that the T-Rex is connected to the base with only one peg; it wobbles a bit when moved so care should taken when putting it in its place. A work of art.”

“The Everything Dinosaur Tyrannosaurus rex is a scientifically accurate scale model from the famous Hell Creek Formation in 1:33 scale. It has a base but stands up really well without it if required. It is an impressively detailed model that has been put together by a team of experts based on the latest data. This model looks more robust than other models with a deeper chest, thicker tail and a stronger neck. The main body looks slightly shorter, giving an even more chunky impression. There is a lot of impressive detail in the model but it would be difficult to mention all of it. One bit of detail that intrigued me is the teeth. I’m wondering how they managed to make them look so realistic – a separate casting perhaps. Anyway, it is a fantastic model!”
