“A triumph of artistry and passion for prehistory, Haolonggood have hit peak sauropod with this incredible Alamosaurus model! Depicted in a gentle languid walking pose with a subtle coil to that great, thick tail, and a gentle, appropriately whale-like expression in a sculpt which shows a powerful and graceful animal. The paint design and blending is exceptional, the tones and patterns are so intricate but applied in a naturalistic way that gives them function beyond aesthetics alone. A lot of thought has gone into the colour choices and how they're applied, and the same is true for the design of the textures across the body, from the scales, to the wrinkling, to the osteoderms. It all comes together very cohesively to bring this behemoth to life. The polystone base is every bit as well considered as the figure itself, depicting a shallow, muddy, post-storm puddle in clear resin, with Alamosaurus footprints, rocks, foliage and mosses providing added texture and interest, much like the stunning base that came with Rebor's Ceratosaurus, but arguably better again. There is also a broken and defoliated tree, which one can imagine is the victim of Alamosaurus's vast appetite, and this fits securely into a slot in the base and is retained by a magnet. The base is a very classy piece in its own right! The final accessory is one of two versions of an unpainted Nyctosaurus, to scale. This tiny pterosaur sits via a fine post on its underside in one of the three almost invisible post holes on top of the tree. I'm looking forward to attempting to paint this tiny scale pterosaur! It's a really nice extra touch, as it's not hard to imagine that as well as being ecosystem engineers, huge sauropods were an ecosystem themselves, attracting many commensal birds and pterosaurs which fed directly upon parasites that afflicted them, but also on any unfortunate animals that were displaced by the indiscriminate movements of sauropods. Haolonggood have created one of the best and most impressive sauropod models available, it's an outstanding achievement and testament to their passion for prehistory, artistic talents and dedication to providing truly high quality models. Worth every penny!”

“What an excellent figure of an Alamosaurus by Haolonggood! It is massive. One of my biggest figures in my collection. I really like that this dinosaur is presented in a small scene, wandering through the landscape and followed by a small pterosaur. The base is highly detailed and very realistic. The footprints fit the figure perfectly so that it has a good stand. The fact that the pterosaur is not painted is a positive and slightly negative point at the same time. Personally, I accept the challenge to paint it myself. The Alamosaurus itself is very well sculpted and I just love the paint scheme. Many different tones and patterns. The overall pose is very dynamic. And it is in 1:35 scale as are all Haolonggood figures. So far my favorite figure from Haolonggood! Highly recommended!”
