“Papo, ever the Ferrari of prehistoric animal toys, have excelled themselves with this large, finely sculpted and intricately painted model. Fine detail abounds, from the callouses lining the underside of the ribcage to the fluidity of the proto-feathers flowing across its upper hide. What it lacks in accuracy it makes up for many times with its quality, and must count among the finest models in their range! The cheeks of the articulated jaw differ slightly from other Papo figures in that they are half-scaly and half-fleshy, which looks a little unusual when the jaw is fully opened. Although this is an odd artistic choice it does not detract from the overall beauty of the model.”
