“PAPO models were some of the first models I bought when I started to collect dinosaur models. I have always found that PAPO models can be a bit hit or miss in that time; some are beautiful and some are... not. I don't think that they are ever the most accurate and I don't think they try to be, often going for movie-based interpretations (which is fine, I love the movies too!) so I never expect to buy a scientifically accurate model from PAPO, but I do hope they are painted well and have a nice sculpt. The Gorgosaurus sculpt is OK, not the worst, but because it is so small (it seems smaller than you think it's going to be despite knowing the measurements) the sculpt and paint around the mouth area, for example the teeth, is not great. It also just kind of looks silly next the other PAPO models that are much larger. It has received some good reviews though, so maybe it is just my opinion!”
