“This is a figure I've been greatly anticipating and it has exceeded my expectations! I never read too much about figures, preferring them to largely be a surprise when I receive them, and it's far larger than I imagined. This is a very good thing as it has allowed Rebor to imbue this figure with a load of subtle realistic details such as a keratinous muzzle, facial patter scales and keeled dermal armour, as well as abundant skin details that are reminiscent of a modern large mammal, but also of creatures such as the giant tortoise. This shows that some careful thought about what is plausible has gone into the design choices. The bendable elements make this figure a lot of fun to pose without the seams detracting much from the overall effect. Indeed once the neck and tail are in place they fit very well, and an integrated gasket prevents these pieces from working loose whilst being manipulated, which is an excellent piece of engineering! The colours are realistic for a large animal without being dull, as there are subtle spots and stripes and different tones which are applied in a realistic way without any blockiness or harsh contrasts. This figure is an absolute triumph for Rebor and one that I appreciate more every time I look at it, and it's certainly not hard to miss as it really stands out in a display!”
