“This pattern excited me when I saw the photo in Carrie's email: all those vivid colours and simple rectangles and 2 1/2"squares cut from one jelly roll. The pattern consists of a small booklet of 2x A4 sheets. The instructions are very brief and the success of the quilt depends on the flow of colour and tone by joining the squares in very precise order. it is necessary to pin numbers on each 2 1/2"strip before cutting them. I am totally dependent on the coloured photos in the pattern and need to consult them before every seam. The pattern might fairly be labelled 'for 5 -star patchworkers only' !”
