“I completed the quilt top of a long thought about project using 1 3/4" squares of Liberty florals. I started researching an alternate to the usual wool wadding I favour as I wanted something very soft with more drape. Silk wadding came to the fore and then I found Quilter's Dream Oriemt which is a blend of Cotton. Bamboo, Silk and Tencel. A query to Carrie about availability resulted in her making an order and in very short time the wadding arrived.
It is very soft to touch and work with. I machine quilted my queen-sized quilt in straight lines as the overall effect of the fabric was very busy and I felt any other free motion quilting would be lost. I chose a linen blend for the backing which was a bit heavier than I actually wanted however I'm very happy with the overall finish.
I would thoroughly recommend this wadding for a special project.
