“While these are called "applique" needles, the eye is only big enough for 1 strand of thread. Therefore, these needles are only suitable for "needle-turn applique". Also, while the coloured needles sound like a good idea, the colour does not allow the small, narrow eye to be easily distinguished, making them difficult to thread. However, they are a lovely length and slide through the fabric cleanly and smoothly. Unfortunately, not such a good buy for the kind of applique that I do, using embroidery thread.”
