We’re pleased to hear that you’re generally satisfied with your new Feelgrounds Docks. We also greatly value your feedback regarding the sole. Understanding the importance of ground feel in barefoot shoes, your suggestion for a more flexible sole is well noted.
Designing barefoot shoes involves balancing robustness with flexibility, which can sometimes be challenging. Based on customer feedback, we recently updated the soles of our sneakers with a new material to enhance durability. While this has made the soles slightly less flexible straight out of the box, they do soften with wear and soon become as flexible as our previous soles, but with the added benefit of increased durability.
If sole durability is not your top priority, you might be interested in checking out our Sale category, where you can find some styles with our older, more flexible soles at a discounted price.
