••• Vitamin C benefits ••• • Vitamin C is a strong antioxidant that can boost your blood antioxidant levels. This may help reduce the risk of chronic diseases like heart disease. • Vitamin C supplements have been found to lower blood pressure in both healthy adults and those with high blood pressure. • Vitamin C supplements have been linked to a reduced risk of heart disease. These supplements may lower heart disease risk factors, including high blood levels of LDL (bad) cholesterol and triglycerides. • Vitamin-C-rich foods and supplements have been linked to reduced blood uric acid levels and lower risk of gout. • Vitamin C can improve the absorption of iron that is poorly absorbed, such as iron from meat-free sources. It may also reduce the risk of iron deficiency. • Vitamin C may boost immunity by helping white blood cells function more effectively, strengthening your skin’s defence system, and helping wounds heal faster. • Low vitamin C levels have been linked to an increased risk of memory and thinking disorders like dementia, while a high intake of vitamin C from foods and supplements has been shown to have a protective effect. Great for this pandemic times. Will order again If you're not sure if this supplement is right for you, do your research properly or consult a professional nutritionist/dietitian or ask your GP or pharmacist if unsure.

These tablets are on the large side, and personally I've needed a few goes to get used to swallowing them in one go. They have a fizzy, citrusy taste completely unlike other vitamins I've used, so it's not the end of the world if they're in the mouth a little longer than usual. But if you have a sensitive gag reflex it'll be best to snap in two. I'm a couple of weeks into taking these daily, and while I don't think I'm vitamin C deficient in diet they've been a good experience. With over 1200% RDA these are approaching the maximum of what I'd be willing to take in one day. However, on days where I've halved the tablet I've felt an energy slump that doesn't noticeably happen on the days where I've taken the full one. Whether that's coincidental, unrelated or even psychological I don't know, but as I haven't had any adverse effects with the full tablets I'll stick with them.

If you do any kind of research on Vitamin C you come to realise (if you have an open mind) just how important this Vitamin is. If the only research you do on the importance of C is to watch a video on YouTube by the Tahoma Clinic of Washington State USA, you will have done yourself an enormous favour. He explains why it is essential to take large doses of this vitamin to protect the body and improve the immune system. Large doses can be difficult to take as they can have a laxative effect. Also, many manufacturers make a Vitamin C tablet so weak it is almost useless. This tablet is one of the strongest on the market but offers reasonable value for money. To take the recommended amount of Vitamin C, I would need to have multiple tablets a day. At the cost price, I will go through a bottle every 25 days. The Recommended dose for myself is 5000mg a day or 5 of these tablets, split up during the day. I usually buy a tablet at 1000mg of Vit C which for me makes more sense. This is a pretty good product with great absorption and one I am happy to recommend.

The manufacturers of these tablets emphasise they are smaller than some other brands. However, they are still a fair bit bigger than the Vitamin C supplements I currently take, even if the NRV content of those is slightly less. So, people who have difficulty swallowing may find these a problem. To be honest, I am not sure you need a 1250% NRV (daily dose) of this vitamin, and although vegan, and gluten free, they are a lot more expensive than many of the alternatives out there. Ideally for this price I would have liked to see it combined with a Zinc supplement, at a lower NRV, and in a smaller tablet. These tablets come beautifully packaged in their own designer type cardboard box, which no doubt adds to the price, is very wasteful, and will probably just end up in the bin as soon as you've opened it. When these first arrived I thought Amazon had sent me an expensive watch, or article or jewelry in error, and I think it is over the top, and totally unwarranted. I'm not knocking the products health benefits, but I certainly wouldn't pay the price for a 3 month supply of vitamin C, as there are far too many alternative, cheaper, and effective products to choose from.

Those tablets come in a very interestingly designed box that informs you that you have donated one meal for a vulnerable person thanks to buying those tablets, which is a great message to get. The bottle itself is all red, and the fact you have written on its fight makes me think taking those supplements will help my immune system fight all the sickness around. You will get a minimum of 4 months of supply of high-strength vegan Vitamin C to support your immune system, reduce tiredness and fatigue as well as support your general well-being. The tablets are medium to large in size and are easy to swallow, with no particular aftertaste afterwards (not that I noticed anyway). I have been taking it for just a few days, so I can't comment too much about seeing major changes, but I am hopeful. I take all my supplements in the mornings just after breakfast, which works the best for me, and that's when I noticed the biggest benefits. I think it is a good quality vegan supplement at a reasonable price, so I would recommend it.

Can never go wrong with supplementing your diet with extra vitamin C. Its a water soluble vitamin, any excess will pass through the body without causing any harm. Great to take all year round to ensure your immune system is optimal. Vitamin C involved in many body functions besides aiding the immune system. It helps development and wound healing. Helps absorption of iron and the maintenance of cartilage, bones and teeth. Come in a standard non see through container with labelling on the sides. The tablets are slightly on the large side but, i had no issues swallowing them just make sure you have adequate amount of water and after food. The tablets have a citrus taste to them. The container has about 4 months supply if you take 1 a day, dosage is 1000mg. Great value

These vitamin C tablets are quite large, perhaps a centimetre long which makes them difficult to swallow. One doesn't notice any flavour or absorbancy. They are used to augment one's natural vitamin C intake.
