“What can I say? Impossible to obtain for love or money I have had to forego ths wonderful fruit for the last seven years due to the only exotic grocery in our county was forced toclose. I find these beautiful slices of sunshine burnished galaxies both intoxicating and highly addictive though if you are not a fan of cucumber you would possibly disagree. A touch of citrus lifts the flavour to delicious heights of decadence. I slice them thinly and decorate salads, fish and poultry dishes to give the extra "wow" factor when entertaining. When alone I slice into larger chunks and stuff them into pitta pockets with watercress and salmon trimmings sloshed with crispy lettuce and a good quality lemon or garlic mayonnaise.”
