I had it in my fridge for 5 days wrapped in a cheesecloth to make sure it last.
i decided to use it today.
i understand that using it as soon as possible is recommended for best flavor but a fresh wasabi root should last properly store in a fridge almost a month.
and it only last 5 days the smallest root was unusable gone soft and black
the largest one was a little bit better.
I had a problem with fine food specialist before this was definitely the last straw.
I suggest for customer outside the UK not to bother buying fresh good only dried or with really long shelf life.”
