“It was a very good steak, but for £50 I was quite underwhelmed. I chose the highest marbling score available and it was barely more marbled than a USDA Prime cut of beef. It had good flavour and was so very juicy, but it did not knock my socks off as expected of a piece of meat at this price point. I will try again to see if it was just a duff steak, but I think I need a higher MBS score”
“The 3 stars is for the price of the steaks ... simply way to expensive to ever justify buying again. Only bought to see what all the fuss was about Wagyu Steaks. Now, the steaks themselves are melt in your mouth. Go for the BMS 6-8 if you really want to get the full effect of what Wagyu steak does in your mouth. The taste just goes on and on with each mouthful.”
