“This is my 3rd box of firewrap sft. 1st 2 boxes were in black and this 1 in yellow. The only reason it got 4 stars instead of 5 was the string material in this kit seemed very frail. When cut it really unraveled terribly and was hard to tuck under and get a smooth finish like the other 2 black kits. Problem solved (well kinda) with the sand paper after the firewrap was set up the next day. Hopefully I just got a bum kit but it would not stop me from buying again! Thanks firemaul!”
“FireWrap SFT is way faster and simpler to apply than the original FireWrap - there’s no painting involved and it cures within a half hour. I’ve applied FireWrap SFT to seven tools now, and definitely had some growing pains - if you don’t spread the resin well enough and remove clumps before compressing, it can come out looking pretty lumpy. I’m looking forward to putting some real work on these grips and seeing how they hold up over time!”
