This hose fits directly to the turbo on the 1.8T 210 and 225 engines. It is made from high temperature resistant flourosilicone compound and nomex reinforced to withstand the high pressures that may be experienced on tuned engines. This is the perfect replacement for the OEM hose which has a history of premature failure. Available in Ocre colour only. Please be aware that these hoses were patterned from right hand drive vehicles.Whilst we believe these to be correct for left hand drive vehicles we suggest that you visually check their suitability, as replacement items, with those fitted to your own vehicle, before attempting installation.

“This is a stiffer hose then normal and it is a very tight over the corresponding pipe and turbo output. Considering the built in available factory adjustments possible, the hose dimensions are not 100% accurate. The ends of the hose are molded in such a way that trimming the length of the hose is not possible. As a result, the radius bend of the hose is with a crimp in what should have been a smooth radius bend. This could be corrected in manufacture by providing a deeper socket in the hose on each end of the hose by something on the order of 1/4 to 3/8 inches. It remains to be seen if this will cause a problem of dependability in use. This is a highly stressed hose and needs to be mounted perfectly. It is not now and because of these shortcomings cannot be. It is very apparent that the manufacturer put exceptional effort into it and I do appreciate the effort but it is not a perfect part and needs some perfecting.”
