“Firstly, I want to say that I am very impressed with your shoes and the way they were delivered. They looked fantastic. However, I always wear a size 38 shoe, and this rarely varies. When I tried on the shoes, they seemed to fit well. They were a bit narrow, but I think that varies from foot to foot. When I started walking in them, the soles wore out almost immediately, which is normal, but this made me doubt whether I should keep the shoes or get a larger size because you can't return shoes with worn soles.
I've now been wearing the shoes for two weeks, and I really notice that they are too small. I wish your website had indicated that it is recommended to buy at least one size larger than the 'normal' size. They fit very tightly, which I usually never experience. I also have other loafers in size 38 which fit quite differently. I used your size guide and shoe scan, which also suggested size 38.
I give a five-star review because everything else went perfectly. Again, I am a big fan of your website, delivery, and the quality of the shoes, but I am disappointed that I am now wearing shoes that are too tight.

Loafers should be tight, but not uncomfortable.
Once they have been broken in, they will mold to the shape of your foot and become a lot more comfortable.
