Unfortunately they are not fitted to walk on a normal street. The shoe sole is highly damaged after around 200m. At the same time they are extremely slippery indoors.

Regarding the sole, these are made with traditional leather soles, which can indeed feel slippery at first and show wear quickly on rough surfaces. This is a common characteristic of high-quality leather soles—they typically require a short break-in period and some initial surface scuffing to gain grip. Over time, they do become more practical for everyday use.
That said, we absolutely understand your concern about durability and indoor slipperiness. Many of our customers choose to add a thin protective rubber sole (“topy” or half-sole) through a cobbler to significantly improve traction and extend the life of the leather. This small adjustment helps balance the elegance of the design with modern practicality.
