“Unfortunately, the shoe is not held in place by the leather itself, but by an elastic band behind the top leather 'flap'. As the leather is thick and of good quality, and the welt is properly sewn, the elastic cannot hold the shoe in place when worn. I kept slipping out of the shoe while walking.
You might think the whole shoe was misconstructed. I did, and I sent it back.”
