“Gorgeous, gorgeous shoes that ooze quality and sturdiness. I loved to wear skate shoes in my youth, but tired of how disposable they are. This is a perfect solution for me, a shoe with similar comfort and style but built to last. They've been immediately comfortable underfoot, shockingly so. The top of the tongue and French binding (rolled collar) are a bit stiff against the leg, but I'm sure they'll break in nicely.
Note: I got these in wide sizing. They're just wide enough for my 3E feet at the ball of the foot, and my toes have plenty of wiggle room (though I'll note they don't splay like a hardcore barefoot-wearer's might). I was worried about the room in the toebox due to the pointy-looking last, but I'm pleased to report that there's more than enough for my great comfort. The expanded width at the ball of the shoe does, to my eye, create a bit of a pinched look in the leather compared to the website's product photos, but that doesn't bother me if it means I get a great fit.
Overall, I'm over the moon about these shoes. It's a great collab and I hope Goral considers making these a permanent offering in even more colors!”
