Lamb tagine w apricots + quinoa pilaf Reviews

3.8 Rating 15 Reviews
I had high hopes for this exotic dish, full of interesting ingredients which I had eaten when I visited Morocco. I enjoyed not having to cook it myself but ultimately, for me, it did not have the complex flavours of a Moroccan dish.

Flavor of pilaf was good but lamb pieces (shoulder?) were so dry and tough, they were inedible...literally! It was like trying to chew leather. If the meat had been covered with the pilaf perhaps it would have retained some moisture through the freezing process, but sitting it on top was a mistake. Such a disappointment as flavors in your meals are good. But...you have to be able to chew the ingredients!

This dish is one of husband’s favourites. It is very well balanced with all the added ingredients. Highly recommend this and all the other meals we have tried and enjoyed many times. Thank you for making our lives a little less stressful - “Dinner is Done”.
