“To be fair, I will say that my wife and I thought that the dish tasted OK. However, when heated as recommended in the microwave, the potato mash was a wet, unappetising blanket on the rest of the contents. We tried a brief period in a fan-forced oven to dry it out with the hope of making it more appealing. That was only partially successful.
There was a generous number of pieces of salmon and Ling in the mixture, They tasted fine. We encountered one fine bone and so, if you choose this dish, you might want to be careful and anticipate the odd (and probably rare) bone.
Would we order it again? No, we would not. While we think many of the GDS dishes are aesthetically delightful and worth the money, this is not, I think, one of them.”
