“I admittedly was a little apprehensive about the purchase. I am a long-time New Balance purchaser, and I have recently tried the Wide Hoka's as well. I would say, as size goes, the XLR8 are slightly narrower than the 4E NB but a little wider than the WIDE Hokas. I would absolutely put the quality, fit, and finish equal to or above Hoka. I definitely prefer the stability and comfort of the XLR8 over the Hokas as well. I would purchase additional pairs if the color assortment was a little better. We peeps with Fred Flintstone feet don't get the cooler color or design choices.”
