“I am new to running our church's Children Ministry and the pastor and I have discussed having a more family-oriented approach. We recently switched to a Group curriculum for our Sunday School lessons. I was excited when I saw all the opportunities and ideas for turning Children's ministry into a family ministry. I really liked the idea of this book for more ideas. I find the book very helpful and easy to read; however, I would like more content. While there are 2 ideas for each "theme," I would've liked some more ideas. I feel like in an ideal world, we would do 2 events for each "theme," so this limits me to only those 2 ideas. I'm not a creative person, so I really need help coming up with event ideas. I also like the idea of having the kids do something during the Sunday service a couple of times a year and would've loved to see some ideas along those lines listed as well in addition to the "special events."”
