“I generally go for lighter, airier cologne - Jefe, for example, but received the Nelson as part of their sample set. After trying the other samples, this one really stood out. It has a very earthy and woodsy vibe, but not in the patchouli realm (yuck). It’s a scent that’s really hard to describe but think a great scent for the fall or early winter and you’ll get the vibe. The cologne also seems to be the most pronounced and long lasting on the skin as well, likely due to the depth and complexity of the scent.
I could see this scent being one of the more polarizing of the offering, based on the sample set which mostly felt in the same general profile. But, if you are looking for something different than the common lighter, more “oceany” smells, give it a shot.”
