“Palmer opens with a big hit of pine/fir. I miss coniferous notes in fragrances, and this is a great one -- slightly sweet but also spicy, grounded by something earthy and nutty that's probably from the smoked fir and the palo santo. This keeps hints of those pine top notes throughout, while drying down to more earthiness and creamy woods. I've found Guy Fox to punch above their weight in general, but Palmer especially is one of their best -- a perfect spring and early-summer scent.”
“I decided to go for this based solely on the description. It was a little different than I was expecting (more Sandalwood to me than pine) but I really like it. It's definitely worth a try if you like woody fragrances!”
“While the forest notes are faintly there, the scent is overwhelmingly sweet, like I went to Lake Tahoe and spent the day at the Placer County fairgrounds and now I smell like the cotton candy machine. I'm going to stick with Nelson as my go-to and may use Palmer as an around-the-house scent.”
