This stuff is my favorite hot sauce ever. It makes everything taste great. Literally everything!

This is the most unique of the hot sauces I've bought here. And I've bought a lot of them. I enjoy all the heat levels, and I make even more hot sauces than I buy. So I'm no novice. And this is, hands down, my favorite Heatonist hot sauce. This is a repeat buy for me. I mostly use this in soups and stews. Especially when I'm going with a Latin American or Caribbean flavor profile. This is not the sauce you dip chips in. It's too thin and too weird. Great on friend plaintain, caldo de res, shredded goat meat, pozole, Tunisian Venison Shanks, Tacos al Pastor... you get the idea. Balance this purchase with a Last Dab or Puckerbutt sauce. This is not for everything.

Too watery, no taste, no heat. Just an awful sauce. This was probably the most disappointed I’ve been in a hot sauce.

My favorite hot sauce is Encona and this is pretty close to it, but more watery which dilutes the flavor. It has great potential if they were to tweak it a bit.

I recommend just having this on hand. It’s really vinegar-y but still has flavor. There’s not a ton of kick to it, but there’s enough to let you know it’s there. Works on a lot of food, but be careful because the vinegar can be overpowering to some food.

I’m not surprised at the heat in the sauces from “Hot ones”. This one isn’t represented to blow you head off, and it doesn’t. It’s tasty and kind to your taste buds. I’d say it’s 1-1/2 maybe 2 times the heat of Tabasco, BUT! The flavor is fantastic. The fruity ness and enjoyability of the sauces I’ve tried thus far is the big surprise for me. If you’re looking for a kindly little kick to your grub, then this one is for you. Loving it, Denny

I'm trying to train myself to eat spicier foods, and this was the very first sauce bought to start with. I got lucky and it happened to be quite close to my upper limit. It's a vinegar based sauce, so its flavor is relatable to Tabasco, which I'm sure we've all tried, but I think the flavor is MUCH better than Tabasco. Regrettably, it has the same stupid plastic hole dispenser thing as Tabasco, which drives me insane because it's a horrendous design that always dispenses too much when you only want a bit, and never gives you enough when you want a lot. Overall, I'm not buying more (I think I prefer something thicker), but this is definitely a good place to start, I think.

I was looking for a nice everyday hot sauce and this one is really good! It's different enough that it doesn't taste like everything out there but familiar enough that it hits the traditional hot sauce spot. The heat was there and it's mild, I would say the "heat" rating (4/10) fits my experience with it. It's runny, I don't mind that but a heads up to anyone who would.
