“This is my favorite hot sauce. I put it on everything! Full of flavor! Just enough kick! I haven’t tried the other version of this but I don’t have to because this one is lights out! I’m on my 5th bottle in a month”

“Ordered this bottle and the KO edition. This bottle looked like it had been stepped on with a huge imprint in it. Heatonist tried telling me thats how they come, but my KO edition did not have that and neither did the many pictures that are posted online from different buyers. It really would not have been that hard to send me a replacement, I was happy to send mine back. With that said, the little hot sauce that is left after being stepped on does taste fantastic. I couldn't recommend the taste of this hot sauce enough, but beware buying from Heatonist. Their customer service is subpar at best.”

So sorry you had a bad experience! That sauce is bottled by Heartbeat Hot Sauce company, a small business located in Canada; they small batch make their sauces and they sauces are super hot (over 140 degrees to be exact!) when they're bottled. That creates a vacuum effect when they're bottled. You see the same effect when putting soup in a blender. It sucks the plastic in. Every bottle of theirs generally looks like that (in varying degrees). But much like a good book, the insides are terrific. Plus once you open it, the bottle goes back to normal! We hope you enjoyed how it tasted on a delicious chicken wing or freshly grilled burger.

“I’ve been wanting to try Dustin’s sauces for a while now. I got the KO because it was supposed to be a little hot and I was totally surprised by how good it is. I put it on pretty much any food. I’m getting all the other sauces now!”
