“I went with this one because I LOVE sweet and hot, and have heard nothing but positive hype about Smokin Ed. Well, I can’t say that I even taste any apricot over the lavender and lemon. I gave it to separate tries, and it’s just absolutely not for me.”

“Love the apricot, the lavender, the vanilla, the heat ... Lovely combination! The flavors come through individually and play very nicely together. I am disappointed, but not surprised to see it out of stock. Hoping for another batch to be released . . . please?”

“I love this flavor. Very unique with a good spice to it. The apricot is very pronounced. Highly recommend if you like unique blends and a bit of sweet and spicy.”

“My wife bought this one and I have been loving it more than either of us expected. This sauce is delicious, very fruity with a good balance of sweet and sour flavors. I think it is WAY HOTTER than a 6.5/10 - to me this sauce is a firm 8 or even slightly higher. The bottle even displays five flame icons - this sauce is HOT! For a comparison on the current lineup, this sauce is burns way more than the Ginger Goat Tropic Star which is listed as a 7. Unlike the negative reviewer, I can barely notice the lavender. There’s just enough to add an interesting floral note. Smokin’ Ed, ya done it again!”

“Full disclosure: I hate lavender. I hate the scent. I hate the flavor. I hate the color. Given that, this was the worst thing I’ve ever eaten. I sincerely thought I was having an allergic reaction. I couldn’t get the lavender taste out of my mouth for an hour. The only flavor was lavender. I loathe this flavor so much, I almost cancelled my monthly subscription for fear of getting another bottle. I threw the bottle away.”

“It's immediately spicy and after a minute all the flavors come through. Vanilla is a unique ingredient that I was a bit skeptical about but it works really well”
