I had tried it with some plain chicken fingers On it's own there is a slow disarming build up and then; like a scene in a movie where the protagonist is near an explosion the soundtrack and the dialog fade and everything is replaced by a ringing in your ears. It's all heat with no distinctive flavors. Then the heat bullied and blocked even my ability to taste the chicken that was still in my mouth. A not uncommon problem when dealing with the superhot sauces. It might seem odd then to say that the solution for this Super hot sauce problem is more hot sauce. but mixing it with another hot sauce rounds it out while elevating the underlying hot sauce. If you've ever had Tabasco scorpion pepper sauce then you'll be familiar with what I'm describing as that is essentially what's going on with that sauce and why it manages to taste like original Tabasco but several degrees hotter. So what hot sauce did I season with the Xperience. Pickapeppa spicy mango. Certain hot sauce goes better with certain foods this hot sauce is a hot sauce elevator.

I was expecting pain, not just a little tingle. Looks like Smokin' Ed was right to say during his interview that it's been diluted.

A bit of a disapointment heat wise. Flavor is pretty similar to a carolina reaper, overall pretty spicy sauce but nothing mind blowing

This would be Great for everything if flavor was also intended when making a HOT sauce. If you just want HEAT it’s a good pick. Other than that it’s not much better than Dave’s Insanity!!

With all the hype and news and Guinness awards surrounding Pepper X, its super underwhelming... until it isn't. What happens is that you treat it with utmost respect at first. Specially as the Pepper X has twice the number of SHU (scoville heat units), than the Reaper. So you only put a little... a tiny bit.. at first. And then it lures you into a false sense of security. You're like.. oh ok.. its hot but edible. But then you add more, and then a bit more. And then baaam, it quickly tips the scales to an overpowering burn. It clings to the tongue, and lingers there for many many many minutes. I like it for it's a clean, lingering sting, without assaulting the throat - which I hated of the Ghost Pepper. So the lesson here, is moderation is key; and pray it doesn't linger on the way out! Hahaha
