It’s ok, flavor and goes for the throat.

An Awesome experience. I've enjoyed this sauce now 5 times and have shared with several people. The flavor has a smoky, earthy tone with a quick attacking heat ready to sear anything on the plate or palate. I'm addicted!

It's got a good heat to it, immediately hits and lights up your mouth. The flavor is really good as well, just a small hint of vinegar with the primary flavor being the pepper. It's pretty hot but not so much so that it stops you from eating more.

I realize reviews are subjective by nature. I’m a chili head, and my tolerance is pretty high (I can eat one chip challenges and go the full hour without drinking). Honestly I thought this sauce was going to be hotter than it s, but that’s okay because this sauce is absolutely DELICIOUS. It was also a very smart move to make this sauce nothing but the pepper. It is VERY flavorful, like “liquid chili pod.” My favorite thing about this sauce is the intentional omission of other flavors, so it works well as an ingredient and as a sauce. Ed Curry was right - it really doesn’t burn the throat, which was a complete surprise to me. The only criticism I have is this: I expected it to be much hotter. I expected it to be significantly hotter than the one chip challenge, but honestly this sauce comes in slightly below. The flavor is good, but this sauce really isn’t much hotter than my collection of Reaper sauces.

No flavor. Hyped up to be extremely hot. It's not. And it was very expensive. I wish I wouldn't have bought it.

Hi Thomas, So sorry to hear that! The sauce is definitely not as mouth-burn hot as extract-based sauces like Da Bomb. We only do natural pepper heat, and the extract-based sauces definitely have more of a mouth burn while natural peppers can have varied styles of heat. Pepper X are way more delayed and can hit much later. So sometimes it feels more like a full body hot sauce high, or hits you in the stomach (the Carolina Reaper is infamous for making folks keel over with stomach cramps). How much did you use? The number one reason for people to think this is not hot is because they treat it like an extract sauce and use too little. You're meant to use about 1 tablespoon per serving, so enough to well coat a wing, plus a dab on top. Definitely not a toothpick type deal. Oh! Also, give it a healthy shake before using it. Sometimes things will settle on account that we don't use preservatives. Let me know if I can help you with anything else! Stay Spicy, Sarita

The siace doesn't feel like the hottest non extract sauce I have had before and its very difficult to pour out of the bottle due to how thick it is.

Hello Brandon! Did you give the bottle a good shake? That will help with the thickness.
