Los Calientes is a sauce with a great flavor, and a good amount of kick. I was skeptical that it would be too sweet for me, but it has the right mix of salty, spicy and sweet. I have put this on pizza, cheese sticks, and chicken so far, and it has yet to disappoint!

My first batch was about 800 scoville (3 bottles), my second 3 bottles are WAYYYy hotter. I love eating straight fresh chilis and know heat, this new batch is for sure hotter. All 6 bottles were ordered in the last 5 or 6 weeks.

I bought this and Cheeba Gold at the same time. Cheeba Gold is supposedly milder but has way more heat. I'm not even sure this has as much heat as Cholula Original. Despite a great flavour it's incredibly disappointing.

I did not like this one bit. I thought the flavors were a little off, and there was just way too much cumin. It overwhelmed everything else. The heat and sweet were balanced well though. That being said, my wife thought it was okay. So I think it will really just come down to personal taste.

I’m starting to think the maker has real problems with consistency in their sauces. I tried this on wings and there is literally almost no heat. I’m no spice lord, sriracha makes me turn red. But I literally tried this side by side with the sriracha and it wasn’t anywhere near as hot as the rooster sauce. Pleasant sweetness but it wasn’t what it was portrayed to be.

There is definitely some heat! But it is the perfect amount balanced with a great array of flavors! Our favorite hot sauce ever!
