“Bottom line up front, I much prefer the Barbacoa version, which has a smoky BBQ taste. This verde is good if you mix it in guacamole, or use it on enchiladas, street tacos (especially shredded pork), etc. especially in combination with sour cream (though it's not so spicy to me that I really need to cut it). But in that sense it's kind of a one-trick pony to me, not as versatile as some other sauces I have. But that specialization is fine if, like me, you keep a LOT of hot sauces on hand. I just wouldn't get this if you're the kind of person who only has one or two hot sauces at any one time.”
