“After watching so much of the show I had to try a few of these sauces. I was waiting for them in the mail with anticipation but when I finally tried it it was lacking flavour. On the show guest are always saying it's nice and sweet and delicious... It is not sweet at all, just a hint of fruit. Honestly, I prefer Chulula by far. My wife makes hot sauce and so far no other sauce comes close to hers.”

I’m so sorry this sauce wasn’t for you! Los Calientes is definitely a medium sauce that was designed for people of all different heat levels. You might want to double the amount you use! ;-) If you'd like a suggestion for something more to your taste, send an email to ilovehotsauce@heatonist.com

“wasnt super impressed with it on wings, but it was absolutely great on tacos. its a great complementary flavor with a hint of sweetness and a nice heat that isnt overbearing.”

“it’s the best sauce i’ve ever had. but im really upset that you guys only make small bottles…. kinda messed up cause you know avid hot sauce users will finish it in less than a week. not cool man. make bigger bottles smh”

“I got this sauce 3 years ago which put me onto hot sauce. I recently reordered it and noticed that the flavor profile has changed and is not as good as it used to be. It used to not have visible pepper skin in it and now it does (not that I care, just another consistency item I noticed). It's still a good sauce, but went from being a 11/10 flavor to about an 8/10 for me.”

“Really Heatonist,I would buy this by the gallon. The combination of flavor, chest warming heat, and smoke make this a truly everyday and everything hot sauce. Try this sauce on a plate of lightly breaded and fried Tilapia topped with pico de gallo, pan roasted corn, and black beans with a sprinkle of feta cheese. The addition of Los Calientes makes this plate punch like a heavyweight while coming in under 250 calories on a plate.”
